Merkel obviously tamed Hollande on the first date. All pre-election stories were transformed into post-election talk. Generally, a proper election tales turn into post-election actions. But as we see, they still talk, ie little of the promise of Hollande will now happen. Instead, it will happen to talk about it, whatever happens - now they will talk about new plans for growth, stimulating, etc., but nothing would make nonsense of requiring a huge infusion of government money into the bottomless pit of domestic consumption. They told him the Germans at the election of Hollande - will give him a chance to go out with honor :)
